Be An Arts Hero ushered through a historic moment last month, when founder Carson Elrod became the first to testify to the Congressional Small Business Committee on behalf of the Arts and Culture economy as a whole sector. If you didn’t know, the arts sector represents 5.2 million folks who power a huge part of our economy. The hearing provides recommendations for investments in key infrastructure and provide a roadmap for bringing arts, culture, and creativity into the center of long-term recovery.
